Our TV Advertisements

For many years, David Rainwater and the firm of Rainwater, Gibbs & Wright LLP have executed a traditional advertising program which consisted of standard listings in telephone directories and various legal listings such as Martindale- Hubbell. Our firm maintained top listings measured by our peers and judges. David Rainwater was one of the few lawyers that received his “A” rating from Martindale Hubbell in under ten years and soon thereafter received his membership to the bar registry as one of the “best of the best.” David Rainwater was further one of the first ten in the State of Georgia to receive his certification as a civil trial lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

As a result of handling cases which were initially handled by “TV Lawyers” but later transfered to the firm, we realized that there were many clients who were not familiar with the best ways to evaluate and engage a lawyer. Many of the TV ads actually violated State Bar Rules by using subjective phrases such as “I fight, I win” or “One call, that’s all.” Our firm decided that perhaps a good firm that actually handles the cases by trial or settlement could benefit clients who had serious injuries.

The theme of our advertisements was directed to the fact that we are “real, and we are the actual lawyers who go to court and handle the case.” We have a good reputation that was earned by working hard for our clients and we are not simply an “advertising platform” that is designed to bring in cases and then redistribute them to other lawyers for a fee. The best method to locate a good lawyer is to ask a friend or someone familiar with lawyers, “who is the best lawyer to handle my case?”. We hope you will ask around your community about our reputation. We are proud of our reputation and legal ability and we strive to see that you reach the best outcome possible.
